Ingredients:
- 1 packet Bourbon biscuits (about 250g)
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (120ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Biscuits:
- Start by crushing the Bourbon biscuits into fine crumbs. You can do this by placing them in a food processor or placing them in a sealed plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
- Make the Cream Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
- Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Assemble the Dessert:
- In serving glasses or a dessert dish, layer the crushed Bourbon biscuits and the cream mixture alternately. Start with a layer of crushed biscuits at the bottom, followed by a layer of the cream mixture. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the glass, ending with a layer of cream.
- Chill:
- Cover the dessert glasses with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the dessert is well chilled and set.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Before serving, garnish the top of each dessert with chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cocoa powder, if desired.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
