Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Bourbon biscuits (about 250g)
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Biscuits:
    • Start by crushing the Bourbon biscuits into fine crumbs. You can do this by placing them in a food processor or placing them in a sealed plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  2. Make the Cream Mixture:
    • In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
    • Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Dessert:
    • In serving glasses or a dessert dish, layer the crushed Bourbon biscuits and the cream mixture alternately. Start with a layer of crushed biscuits at the bottom, followed by a layer of the cream mixture. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the glass, ending with a layer of cream.
  4. Chill:
    • Cover the dessert glasses with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the dessert is well chilled and set.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Before serving, garnish the top of each dessert with chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cocoa powder, if desired.
    • Serve chilled and enjoy!
