- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Prepare the Casserole: In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, tomato paste, mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Add the cooked beef mixture and 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir to combine.
- Bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
