Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 cup ketchup, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
- Spread 1/4 cup ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
