Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

How to Prepare:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Top each breast with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
