Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, and bring to a simmer. Add red pepper flakes if using.
- Combine and Serve: Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
