Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread for serving

How to Prepare:

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Add white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly reduced.
  4. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in fresh parsley.
  5. Serve over cooked pasta or with crusty bread.
