Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
How to Prepare:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Top each breast with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
